Ordering ISP IPs: carrier, location, plan and term
Updated 3 min read
You can order a single ISP IP. The form walks through plan, location, carrier, quantity and term, and the order summary on the right shows the total before you pay. That total is what you are charged.
Before you start
- Confirm your email address; orders are refused until you do. See Creating an account and confirming your email.
- Have enough balance, or add funds during checkout. See Adding funds to your balance.
Place the order
- Open Proxies > ISP in the side menu and click Buy ISP.
- Which plan? Choose Shared, Dedicated (marked Most popular) or Premium. On shared, Extra bandwidth adds traffic per IP on top of the included allowance. See Dedicated, shared or premium: the three static plans.
- Where should they be? Pick a Country. If your target checks more than the country, use Narrow to a state or Narrow to a city where they are offered. Any change in price shows in the Order summary.
- Which carrier? Pick the ISP or carrier your target expects, or Random if it does not care.
- Number of proxies. Pick a package or Enter custom amount.
- How long do you need them? Pick the term. Longer terms carry a discount, shown on each option.
- Check the Order summary and click Continue. If the button stays greyed out, the reason is written in red under it.
- If we ask Do you need an invoice?, answer it: without an invoice you only confirm your country; with one, fill in Billing details or click Enter billing details later.
- On Payment, choose Account balance or a card, and click Complete order. If the payment page says Identity verification required, nothing has been charged; see Identity verification: when we ask and how to complete it.
What happens next
The order page shows its progress: Order placed, Payment, Provisioning, Ready to use. IPs are assigned from live stock, and the order form only offers locations that are in stock. When the order is ready, the IPs are listed under Proxies > ISP with their connection details. See Connecting to an ISP or datacenter IP.
If something goes wrong
- The order is still Pending. It is paid and waiting to be provisioned; there is nothing more to do.
- An unpaid order can be cancelled from its page under Orders with Cancel this order. Nothing was charged, so there is nothing to refund. Unpaid orders also lapse on their own at the time shown on the order page.
- It never delivered. An order we cannot deliver ends as Failed and the charge goes back to your balance. If that has not happened, tell us within 14 days of ordering; see Refunds: what comes back, where it goes, how to ask.
