Ordering datacenter IPs
Updated 2 min read
A single datacenter IP is a complete order. You pick the plan, the location, how many and for how long, and the summary shows the total before anything is charged.
Place the order
- Open Proxies > Datacenter in the side menu and click Buy Datacenter.
- Which plan? Dedicated carries only your traffic with no bandwidth cap. Shared is cheaper and includes a traffic allowance per IP; Extra bandwidth adds more up front. Premium is a dedicated IP no customer has used before. More in Dedicated, shared or premium: the three static plans.
- Where should they be? Pick a Country. Narrow to a state or city only if your target checks it; the form offers only what is in stock, and any change in price shows in the Order summary.
- Number of proxies. Pick a package or Enter custom amount.
- How long do you need them? Longer terms show their discount on the option.
- Check the Order summary, click Continue, and on Payment click Complete order. If we ask Do you need an invoice? in between, answer it: without an invoice you only confirm your country; with one, fill in Billing details or click Enter billing details later. If the payment page says Identity verification required, nothing has been charged; see Identity verification: when we ask and how to complete it.
There is no carrier to choose on datacenter. If your target cares which provider an address belongs to, you want ISP instead; see ISP proxies: static IPs on a carrier you name.
After you pay
The order page moves through Order placed, Payment, Provisioning and Ready to use. The IPs then appear under Proxies > Datacenter, each with its own endpoint and credentials. See Connecting to an ISP or datacenter IP.
Plan the end of the term now
Each IP expires at the end of its term. If the job will outlive it, turn on Auto-buy on the proxy page so it renews from your balance. See Renewing ISP and datacenter IPs.
If the order stalls
Pending means paid and being set up; there is nothing to do. An unpaid order can be cancelled from its page under Orders. An order we cannot deliver ends as Failed and the charge goes back to your balance; if that has not happened, tell us within 14 days of ordering.
