Invoices, receipts and the details printed on them
Updated 2 min read
You get an invoice for each completed deposit to your balance. Orders are paid from that balance, so the deposit invoice is the document your accounts team needs. All of them sit under Billing > Invoices, and the name, address and company printed on them come from your profile.
Download an invoice
- Open Billing in the side menu, then click Invoices.
- The list opens on this month. Change Period to see older invoices, or search by order ID or invoice number.
- Use View or Download on a row. For several at once, select them and click Download selected, or click Download all to get every invoice on the account as one ZIP file. With two or more selected, Generate combined report makes one PDF that lists the selected invoices, their lines and totals.
A deposit's receipt is also on its own page: open Billing > Deposits, pick the deposit, and click Download receipt. Invoices are produced shortly after a deposit completes, so a brand-new one can take a little while to appear.
Put your details on the invoice
- Open the account menu, choose My account, and stay on General.
- Fill in Personal details and Address. The address is used on invoices.
- Under Company details, add the Company name if the invoice should carry it.
- Click Save changes.
Details are copied onto an invoice when it is produced, so save them before you add funds.
If your profile is incomplete when you order, checkout asks Do you need an invoice? and can add a Billing details step. You can fill it in there or click Enter billing details later. If you skip it, checkout does not ask again, so add your details under My account > General.
Send invoices somewhere else
Under My account > Notifications, Invoices and receipts sends them to your own address, to a separate one such as a finance mailbox, or nowhere. They stay in the dashboard whichever you pick.
Something wrong on an invoice?
Write to support@proxyhive.io from the account's email address with the invoice number and what needs correcting.
