Can I choose the country on residential?

Residential is coming soon and cannot be ordered yet. ISP and datacenter proxies are on sale now, and both let you choose the location.
No. Residential rotates across the whole pool, with no country, state, city or ASN selection. That is how the product is listed, not a setting you have missed.
If your job needs a location
Use a static line instead:
- ISP is ordered by country, with region and city where stock allows, and you pick the internet provider by name.
- Datacenter is ordered by country, with region and city where stock allows.

Checking where an exit is
To see where a given exit sits, request an IP-echo page through the proxy and look the address up, or run the browser proxy checker with the proxy switched on. Expect the answer to change on the next request, because residential rotates; see Rotation, sticky sessions, and which to pick.
