Your first request, from sign-up to a working proxy

Five steps, all self-serve: no sales call, no quote to wait for.
1. Create the account and confirm your email
Sign up with an email address and a password, then follow the link in the confirmation email. You cannot add funds or order until the address is confirmed. Details: Creating an account and confirming your email.
2. Pick the line
ISP for a static address on a named carrier, datacenter for a fixed, cheaper address on targets that accept server traffic. Residential, ISP or datacenter: picking the line for the job has the comparison. Residential, for wide collection on rotating addresses, is coming soon and cannot be ordered yet, and neither can the Scraper and Unblocker APIs.
3. Add funds
Click Add funds in the top bar (on a phone, open the menu first), enter an amount and pay by card. See Adding funds to your balance.
4. Order
On Home, click Buy now on the line you want, or open it under Proxies in the side menu and use its buy button, such as Buy ISP. Configure the order, check the Order summary, click Continue, then Complete order on the payment page. The order page shows progress until it reads Ready to use.
5. Connect and test
Open the proxy under Proxies. The Connection card has the gateway or endpoint, the username, the password and the protocol line with its port. If the protocol line says HTTP, test with:
curl -x http://HOST:PORT -U "USERNAME:PASSWORD" https://api.ipify.org
You should get back an IP address that is not yours. That is the exit a website sees. If the protocol line says SOCKS5, use the SOCKS5 command in Connecting with a username and password.
Didn't work? A 407 means the proxy did not accept how you authenticated: start with Connecting with a username and password. Anything else: A proxy stopped working: tell us from the dashboard.
