Scraper API and Unblocker API: not on sale yet
Updated 2 min read
Both APIs are in the catalogue and marked coming soon. You cannot order either one today, and nothing is charged for them. In the dashboard they are listed under Data as Web Scraper API and Web Unblocker, with a Coming Soon label in place of a price.
What each one will do
- Scraper API. You send a URL and get the page back. Exit selection and retries happen on our side. If the target answers with a challenge, it stops and reports it.
- Unblocker API. Same interface as the Scraper API, built for pages that refuse a plain fetch. It keeps rotating and retrying through challenges until the target returns a page.
Both are planned to bill per 1,000 requests. The Scraper API page and the Unblocker API page show the planned rate ladders, captioned as not on sale. The day an API opens, that ladder becomes its price list and an order button appears.
What to use until then
- For pages a plain request can fetch from a server: Datacenter proxies: fixed addresses for tolerant targets, driven by your own client.
- For targets that need one address held for a long time: ISP proxies: static IPs on a carrier you name.
Getting told when they open
Use the waitlist form for the Scraper API or the Unblocker API. It picks the "Waitlist for a new product" topic for you. We have no launch date to share.
